I'm 55 year old mum and have had cats for most of my life. I'm now the proud owner of two beautiful mainecoons, Loki and Luna-Freya. They are my world and the inspiration behind this site.

Cats are incredable animals. Some owners just feed their animals and provide a warm and comfortable home. Others, (like myself and my family) spend a lot of time with our cats. Playing with them and giving them lots of attention. The fact that you've found this site, you probably are the latter too.

However, for those who are considering getting their first cat, let me tell you what all cat lovers know. If you love your pets to the end of the earth, entertain them and shower them with attention, they will respond by following you around, giving nose kisses, tap you with their paw to get your attention, talking to you, entertaining you, rubbing up against you and showering you with love.
